Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nejo mobile app and website (together, “Nejo”). By creating an account or using Nejo, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Nejo is
Nejo is an AI speech companion for people who stutter. Practice sessions, feedback and recommendations are generated or selected by software. Nejo is not medical treatment, not a diagnosis tool, and not a substitute for a speech-language pathologist or other clinician. Do not treat Nejo output as professional, medical, legal, financial or emergency advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Nejo. We may ask you to confirm your age.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for the content you send. Do not impersonate others, attempt to disrupt the service, or use Nejo to harm anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or applicable law.
4. Purchases
Optional paid features (including subscriptions and in-app credits) are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Their refund and subscription rules apply. Virtual credits have no cash value outside the app.
5. Content
You keep rights in content you upload. You grant Nejo a licence to process that content so we can operate the service, for example transcribing speech or generating a practice reply. Nejo branding, product media and software are owned by Nejo or its licensors.
6. Acceptable use
- No illegal activity, exploitation, or attempts to involve minors.
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or overloading our systems.
- No using Nejo output to impersonate a real person in the real world.
7. Availability
We provide Nejo “as is”. Features and availability can change. We are not liable for losses that we could not reasonably foresee, or for things outside our control.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
