Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Nejo collects, why we use it, and the choices you have. Nejo is an AI speech companion for people who stutter. Voice and text you share are processed so Nejo can run practice sessions and personalise what comes next.
Information we collect
- Account: email, sign-in method, display name, date of birth, and profile choices such as practice focus areas.
- Practice content: texts, voice from live practice, check-ins, and the replies or recommendations generated for you. We use this to run sessions, remember context, and improve the product.
- Device and usage: app version, device type, crash logs, and approximate activity (for example, that you started a practice session) via analytics tools.
- Purchases: subscription and credit status via Apple, Google and our payments provider. We do not receive your full card number.
- Notifications: a push token if you allow notifications, so we can send practice reminders you enable.
How we use it
We use this information to provide Nejo, personalise practice, keep the service safe, process payments, send the notifications you enable, and understand what is working. AI providers process practice content on our behalf to generate replies, transcriptions and speech. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us operate Nejo (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, AI generation, payments, and push delivery). We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we transfer the product as part of a business sale.
Retention
We keep account and practice data while your account is active, and for a limited time after deletion so we can complete backups and legal duties. You can clear practice history or delete your account from the app.
Your choices
- Update profile details in the app.
- Turn notifications off in system settings.
- Request account deletion from the app or by contacting us.
Children
Nejo is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
